![]() If I managed that, I still had to be near perfect on my preparations.Ĭhapter 27: One of the time killing chapters.or at least, it tried to anyway. I had to make sure I didn't see Nergal's ugly face, since if I did, it would cost me seconds. ![]() I think the "inventory full" part shocked me for a second, since it looks like I hesitated.Ĭhapter 27 Preparations: I think this might have been the most annoying segment of the run, and it lasted less than a minute. I had completed this chapter before this segment, but I decided to take a 13 second penalty for the Boots (which I skipped before). Time lost there, but I did get the Boots, which made it worthwhile. After Marcus the one man army did so, I had him escape the throne room.bumping into guys along the way. The RNG hated me, so I had to do some other things to avoid missing with a decent hit rate (I think).Ĭhapter 26: The strategy I used had one important goal: rescue Zephiel as soon as possible. Other than that, the Mercenary near Legault, Ninian, and Lyn was a cheater. Athos would've been the only person to consider, but 2-4 extra magic damage won't kill him. Sadly, I had Hawkeye grab a Talisman.that I never used. That's not to say it's complete crap, it's just not my best. Yes, it could've been better, but I hate this long chapter anyway. Marcus rescued Hector and sat on a forest square as well.Ĭhapter 25: Simply put, I settled on this chapter. Pent and Louise rescued Eliwood and Lyn while sitting on forest squares for the avoid bonus. Not fighting eventually costs time, and fighting too much obviously does the same. I chose the fourth option, since it seems to be the best idea. Kill in self-defense and mop up things in my immediate range. Kill everybody in a reasonable radius while I wait.Ĥ. Only kill in self-defense while waiting.ģ. ![]() I also stole a Guiding Ring for Canas in this chapter.Ĭhapter 23: Marcus killed Lloyd with ease and I skipped Wallace this time.Ĭhapter 24: I had four possible strategies for this chapter, and had to decide which would be the fastest. This weakened him just enough for Pent to finish him off, ending the chapter quickly. No Heath this time.Ĭhapter 22: I needed that specific RNG order, so that Canas would get a critical hit on Paul. Isadora clears the way, Marcus kills Eubans. That's all that needs to be said.Ĭhapter 21: A sad excuse for a defense chapter. If there was any part of this run that counts as comedy relief, that would be it. Marcus attacks with a Hammer Axe (76%) and misses.ĭarin counters with a Silver Lance (52%) and misses. This chapter also has one of the stupidest looking fights ever: Marcus versus Darin. This chapter had a few close calls.Ĭhapter 19: Home of the first Luna spell, which is the only one I ever get. ![]() The plan is basically the same as the previous run, except this time I don't get the Speedwing and Eliwood hides in a corner.Ĭhapter 18: Marcus does most of the work, as usual. I don't bother with Raven and Lucius.Ĭhapter 16x: Behold! Limstella's worst nightmare joins me! Florina and Marcus take care of things fairly quickly.Ĭhapter 17: Only 3 characters take part in this chapter (Eliwood, Marcus, and Florina). Fairly simple strategy (kill boss, fly in leader).Ĭhapter 16: Ah yes, Merlinus shows his ugly and useless face. If he had hit, I'm fairly sure the bandit would've wasted time on the fort.Ĭhapter 15: Florina takes Marcus and Eliwood for a ride. This chapter has one of the two armory visits in the run.Ĭhapter 13: Ha! Guy, who needs you? Not me, that's for sure.Ĭhapter 14: Matthew tricked the bandit into fighting a battle he couldn't win by missing the first time. Sadly, he decided to hate me by missing Groznyi the second eaking moron.Ĭhapter 12: This chapter looks somewhat sloppy, to be quite honest. Of course, he looks that way anyway.Įnough rambling, on to the chapter summaries! I'm going to skip Lyn's mode summaries, since I hate that mode.Ĭhapter 11: Marcus abuse as usual. I even threw in some RNG abuse, which I can't remember if I did in the previous run.Īs an added bonus, I never deployed Merlinus throughout the entire run. You guys know who I'm talking about, so thanks to you all.īut anyway, I did a lot of things differently this time around (besides going faster obviously). Admitted, I don't remember many (if any) new ideas, but even having someone to discuss my ideas with was great. That's insane! As far as I know, this delay was my fault.įirst of all, I should thank everyone who wanted to see this run and helped contribute ideas. I started this run on August 13th, and didn't finish it until December 2nd. Available in three versions: low, normal and high quality. Speed run of Fire Emblem for GBA in 35 segments completed on December 2 2005.
