A map editor like the Blizzard from Warcraft would be awesome for the community. It would change the whole gameplay but would be fun balancing the battle and keeping the city working. However, I will agree that Frostpunk does a horrible job at advertising those limits. This makes the game somewhat different from others in the genre, but it has a right to be. you need to conquer a territory to make your new city so you have to battle your friend for that. Basically the game is rather simple, but it is managing these simple elements against an increasing amount of stress, that gives the game shape. On the other side, it would be awesome to have a RTS where, for example. Keeping the narrative aspect of the game is a must for going to a multiplayer experience, I think it would work really well on small scenarios with a clear goal. Maybe when there`s a storm players can`t communicate, they would make a strategy way ahead of the storm to send the needed supplies. If it does exist, it will be like This War of Mines combat on yayo overdosing and roid rage and a couple orders of magnitude greater in impact. City 1 needs to send supplies so city 2 makes the steam cores while both have to deal with the people`s needs. Frostpunk is a City-Building game where you try to contruct a base or city, and the elements within that city are your own worst enemy, like the peoples happiness, food supply or warmth. The other city is close to some structure that you use to create steam cores (just a simple example, could be another objective). We have 2 cities, one has a lot of resources to gather. One player controls the city and the other a small settlement in charge of fixing the dreadnought. I was thinking of some scenarios:įor example, using the story from The Fall Of Winterhome. I think it would be awesome if they kept the narrative aspect of the game.
